Sometimes letting go of things can be hard, whether it’s a person, a goal, aspiration, vision for the future, daily comfort…you may have a fighters’ spirit but it’s difficult to pick up your wand for action if you’re struggling under the weight of the world. Ask for help. Set some things aside. Make space for what must happen today. It can feel like you’re letting some down when you prioritize, but it’s the type of self-preservation that will help you here. It helps you while you work towards what is really important. Changing is part of our natural state. We are always in flux. You don’t have to stay the same version of you that no longer feels right. If some walk away during this transition, let them. Not all connections are meant to last.
Prompts
What are you carrying that isn’t yours?
What are you carrying that no longer feels aligned with you?
What type of grief or sadness may come up if you let some of these things go?
What is your heart telling you to fight for?
What stirs the passion within you?
Are you worried about rejection or abandonment if you walk away from that which no longer serves you? Why do you think that is?
How can you invite that fear as a guest as your table?
