Exploration update and some zines for paid subscribers
Last week I became sick (thankfully not Covid) and it knocked me out for 3-4 days. Creativity has been happening, I have been working in my composition notebook art journal in a style closer to my early days of art journaling. It’s very satisfying to return to as I have traveled through months of abstract work to get here. I feel looser, and able to tackle the page in whatever way I see fit. I still make my abstract collages everyday. I suppose this is just an expression of gratitude in how well-rounded it all feels.
I have been collecting shades of green while out, in accordance with my zine Iridescent Explorations. I have found that when one is sick you don’t leave the house much. This says a lot as I didn’t leave the house a lot anyways. Hoping some walks in this 50-degree weather will bring new shades of green to my attention. I shall report back.
After climbing above 100 subscribers here for Wild Faith, I have decided to create my second Substack as a container for my creative writings. I used to share those writings here but have since removed them as I felt it cluttered the space. If you’re interested in following my creative endeavors over there, you can follow
. Thanks in advance! Finally, I discontinued the printed versions of all of my zines in my Etsy shop. They are still available in digital format there. I will be sharing digital copies of my zines here on Substack for paid members of Wild Faith.
Thank you for reading! Please considering subscribing, either as a free reader or paid. I want to offer my gratitude for you visiting my little corner of the internet. I genuinely appreciate any restacks, shares, likes and comments. I hope what you found here was nourishing and engaging.
